Mama's Potato Soup

My potato soup is basic and that's why my family likes it. Sometimes less is more. I learned how to make this when I was very young watching my mother and I have stayed with this recipe ever since. We always had this every Christmas Eve along with a nice buffet of assorted food dishes that made the soup special.
